Was just curious as to how and what products you use for cleaning your cases.

Since I own a tire repair service I typically pop the bead on a 16" tire on the Ford truck - each tire will hold approximately 3500 rounds of 357 and 45 mix. Add a quart of sand soaked in ammonia and comet mix and drive for two days. WaLa - VERY CLEAN brass.

Sorry - couldn't help myself. I actually use five Dillon Large and three Midway standard tubblers with corn cob and walnut along with the Dillon rejuvinator. I very seldom ever mix calibers so that is why I have so many tumblers (not to mention I reload a lot).

So far I haven't cleaned my cases. I just wipe them down and load them. Seems to be working.

Jkwas - that will work just fine until the day a case gets stuck and you have to pry, pull, rod it out. I learned the hard way many many years ago.

Secondary but just as bad is the grit on the case will eventually wear the throat of the barrel.

Good Luck,
