Here are my two Glocks. I'm partial to the 19 and 23 due to size...

Very nice. I have never owned a Glock. I am more partial to the XD line. Only because of the extra safeties on them.

I used to own a couple of XDs for the same reason but I switched over to Glock. I had the XD 9 and the XD 45 service models. The only additional safety is the grip safety. I've found that I can tell by look or touch if the Glock is locked and loaded and know that if I pull the trigger it will fire. I also know the pistol won't fire unless I do pull the trigger. My primary reasons for switching to Glock were the long standing track record for reliability, and availability of parts. At the time I owned XD pistols; aftermarket parts were not readily available, and SA's policy was that a pistol had to be sent in for repair and they would not sell parts to the public. Glock will sell whatever parts you want or need, plenty of after market parts are available, and you can find Glock parts anywhere in the world. This is good insurance in my mind. I know I can always have a pistol that will work, is easily serviceable, and I can have parts on hand just in case... Nothing against the XDs though, I found them very reliable and shootable. I actually found that I'm more accurate with the XDs but I'm good enough with the Glock pistol to "get the job done". I do prefer the trigger reset on the Glock because it is much more profound and can be worked easily for quick follow up shots because you can really feel the reset.

Do you ever have trouble with mis feeding with the tac-light installed on the 23?

Good question. I've heard some of the same reports you have. I put that light on there for the picture. I actually bought it when I owned the XDs. I've never fired the Glock 23 with the light on it and I don't keep the light on it when it's in the locker either. I was just for photographic purposes. I do plan on testing it, I just haven't gotten around to it...
