Just a quick range report to share with everyone...
Yesterday I picked up the S&W M&P 15-22 MOE model. I got it out to the range this morning just to make sure it was going to feed and eject properly.

Everything went well. I ran about 100 rounds Remington 22 Thunderbolt High Velocity rounds through the rifle. It fed and ejected just fine. The only problem I encountered was ammo related. I had a few rounds that didn't ignite. Inspection of the rounds clearly showed the dented rims so I blame the ammo, not the rifle.

Anyway, this seems to be a pretty nice little plinker. The Magpul MBUS sights were set up pretty much at zero already so I didn't have to fuss around with adjustments. I did top the rifle off with a Bushnell Holo-sight so the rifle pretty well emulates my real AR15 that is topped with an EoTech optic. It was fun to shoot and saves me somewhere around 40 cents every pull of the trigger. All the controls are placed and work just like a real AR15 so you can practice your AR15 fundamentals without breaking the bank. It was a lot of fun this morning and I'm looking forward to getting her out again real soon. I'm considering a Gemtech Outback II suppressor just to add more fun. :)

very nice - over time that little .22 LR will save you a LOT of coins. Keep us posted as to how it breaks in and runs.
