This doesnt have anything to do with concealed carry so I thought I would post it in the "off topic" forum. Does anyone have or know anyone who has a Desert Eagle in 440 Corbon Mag.
Im just curious because I think they were only made for 12 months.

One of the guys that took the last CCW class brought his Desert Eagle in 44 mag but I am not sure if it was a "440 Corbon Mag." Not even sure what that is.

Its a 50 Action Express necked down with a 44 cal. bullet. It shoots a 240 grain bullet at 1900 fps and 1900 pds of energy. Hand Cannon!

My hand hurts just thinking about that! I'll bet it weighs 5 lbs loaded too.

My Brother in Law actually does the printing for Desert Eagle. The 440 Corbon was discontinued due to ammo feeding issues that couldn't seem to get worked out to consumer satisfaction.
Very heavy and a very heavy price tag if you can find one for sale.

Yeh your right about the heavy, weight and price tag. 73 ounces and around $1700. Im trying to find someone who has one because when I purchased mine the salesman at the gun store said that as far as he could tell mine was the 4th one in the U.S..It took 7 weeks to get it, but it was worth the wait. As far as a feeding problem I have never experienced that.

You should post some pictures of it. Would love to see it.

I have carried in deer season. It has a scope on it and is very accurate to 100 yards. I will put some pics on next week, going out of town for a couple days...be back Monday.

100 yards... Dang, that is good for a Desert Eagle.
