Congrats Mark, I have had my G23 for several months and I really like it. It has performed flawless no matter what I am shooting with it. I have considered a G19 since they are essentially the same gun with cheaper ammo. Let us know how you like it.

Nice handgun. I love my Glocks (G23, G27), my son has the family G27, G23, G22. His wife has the G19. We love them all. I can only think of one thing we have done and had issues. My son was given a Glock Tac light on the G23 (for Valentines Day from his wife, isn't she great) and it would stove pipe every 3rd or 4th shot. I believe even though it was a Glock brand Tac Light, it was too heavy.

The model 19 must be a pretty popular pistol. I took one home about a month ago, and my son just bought one a few days ago.

She purchased it for my son. He wasn't limp wristing, it's a known issue in Glock circles. But thanks for trying. It works best with a full size. Have a great day.

I will be new to the glock crowd in a few months and I wanted to say that about week ago I shot g19,26 and g23c with sights and thought g23c with laser sights was trash but liked the 19 and 26 alot but I am coming to glock from own and shooting p226 sig 9mm and baby eagle in 40 cal and I little skecpital about not having a hammer but may in the head type thing also the newer glocks that I looked at today seemed lighter than ones I shot and having said that I am torn between the g19 and g26.I also am curious but how the stiker fire system is carry with one chambered vs say sig with hammer that you can plainly see in down position, so I guess my basic question how would one tell if the Glock is in the decocked position.
thanks
