Gentlemen,

I need to tap your vast knowledge and experience once again. A friend of mine has recently received his CCL and is looking for a specific type of gun. He is wanting a hammerless revolver in .44 magnum. He and I have done some research and have come up empty handed so far. Does anyone know of such a gun available from any manufacturer? All help is appreciated. :)

Just a couple:

He could get a used S&W 296, which is hammer-less, or the S&W 396, but is NOT hammer-less.

Actually neither of those guns is a 44 Magnum.
They are 44 Spl.

No one makes a "hammerless" 44 mag

Oh, but they Do.

The Taurus is a Magnum. Click on the photo of it in the link above, then Look at photo's above it. Has .44 Magnum on side of Barrel. ;)

The other 2 are special's Yes, but the Taurus is a magnum.

Notice that it also has a hammer?
No hammer spur but it definitely has a hammer

It looks like someone had the spur removed. Taurus does not list a 44mag in their hammerless handguns just 357mag.

I guess I was wrong. There are no hammerless 44 mags.
