Howdy,

I thought I'd share with you my latest invention. I wanted an ankle holster that can handle a variety of guns and be comfortable and not slip very easily while I'm walking around. I also wanted something I can shove extra magazines into:

Here are some photos (from big-daddy-firearms.com):

And the marketing shpeel...

This holster is designed to be highly adjustable. It sports two gun pockets, one for small and the other for larger guns. It features velcro straps for extra security and a triple elastic restraint system. It also has tooling leather embedded for extra vertical non-slip resistance.

The following were considered in this holster's design:

- Comfort: A comfortable ankle holster should be easier to wear all day long. That is why fleece was chosen as the backing material that the leg contacts.

- Limited Sliding: An ankle holster will need a large surface area to combat heavy downward force while walking.

- Rigidity: Rigid vertically oriented tooling leather (very thick leather) rectangles are used to further minimize or eliminate sliding and to prevent sagging.

- Adjustability: The adjustment mechanism for this holster is a multi-slit system that allows the wearer to tightly fit various sizes of guns. The elastic straps loop behind thick leather tooling so as to minimize interference with gun insertion and extraction.

It doesn't look like the prettiest thing in the world, but that doesn't matter. Good concept there. It looks pretty thick? Does it slide down on your leg?

Thanks. It is actually very sturdy as I put in 2 heavy duty vertical strips(1" x 6.5") of tooling leather along the edges of both sides. It holds very well if the three straps are tight enough, especially the top one.
