Anyway to get a live chat area? Than when a group of us get on here we can BS easier or carry on a conversation some other that over filling a thread with something that has little or nothing to do with the topic.

See, that's something I wouldn't understand. I'm a mechanic because computers make me want to destroy things (likethe computer, screen, keyboard, etc) when they don't work. I'll stick with wrenching and call friends when the PC NO WORKY! haha

I have not seen chat work very well on small boards, and have watched many large boards give it up due to the added administrative oversite workload. Too big a PITA for the negligible benefits.

That may no longer be true. These folks are diligently working with MGC Chatbox Evo for Vbadvanced CMPS and appear to be getting it to work. I think it can be downloaded from somewhere in the thread. This is page 21 of about 25 pages. This is the breakthru page I think.

You know what would be helpful is an application that allows you to add addresses and a short message for the purpose of inviting new users to the forum. I think it would help increase numbers. If it's not to difficult an application to install/support/implement.
