I use either my 721 pancake with t.s. or and more often cause it seems to be comfortable is my J.I.T slide both are from Don Hume.

Depends on the weather, my required dress, and what I am primarily doing.

My two favorites are:

Milt Sparks VM2 - I have 8 different of this holster for my most carried guns. Usually carry - Beretta Cougar 8000F in the VM2. This is one of the most functional and comfortable IWB holsters I have every worn. Very concealable and great retention and reholstering.

Carried this rig/gun in Desert shield/Storm in 91 as a concealed backup and while lounging around waiting on the next mission.

Then there is the Harley or times when I'm in the car for hours or just stuck in a suit. for those moments my favorite rig is the Galco Miami classic. I have at least a dozen of these for different guns.

Dez,
When you were in Iraq, where were you stationed? My sister is a Captain in the Army and stationed at Camp Striker in Bagdad.

Anyone have a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 they could post pictures of? IWB is the only way for me to carry - a jacket at work is right out so a 'tuckable' holster is what I've been wishing for. I used a Galco jerk for a while under a dress shirt but it's a little too much to rip through buttons when you're "needin' yer iron straightaway" so got a Summer Special to replace that which works, poorly. The VM2 seems to ride a little lower in the waistband which is what I'm after.

Not allowed to open carry yet but have a Gould 890 195 IWB for my Colt and a Don Hume 53-145 IWB for my Taurus. When i have the option and decide to open carry i will look around for a good belt slide.

During the Gulf War in 90/91 I was assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group at Ft. Campbell Kentucky but attached to CENTCOM in FL. with duty assignment in IRAQ. I was all over Iraq at that time. During my recalls to active duty in 2000-2002 and again in 2003-2005 I was assigned directly to CENTCOM as a senior advisor and mission leader of the combined CENTCOM Special Operations Forces which included special opertions personnel from the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. Primary mission focus of course was Iraq and Afghanistan but we conducted missions world wide.

I don't open carry unless on the range. For that purpose I have this Blackhawk Serpa 2 holster for my Glock 23 and/or 19.

Serpa, Gelco "Miami Classic", Fobus, and when things get really serious, a Safariland Tactical Drop rig with four mag holders, a flashlight, extra cuffs, and tactical knife.

When the weather is nice, and I don't want to wear a shirt for a cover, a regular leather fanny pack, with a holster and two mag pouches sewn inside.

Glock 23 in a Crossbreed Supertuck for me. I wear shirts both ways, tucked in or polo types out.
