It almost looks like they were trying to make it more comparable to the XD.

All in all it is not a bad looking gun, But if I were Glock and seeings as it is a
4th Gen I would have offered it either with or with out the finger grooves. I love my G-19 but I think I would love it more without the grooves. Be Safe, Dave
