Kimber
The Stainless Ultra Raptor II and Stainless Pro Raptor II are the newest additions to the popular Raptor series from the Kimber Custom Shop. Chambered in .45 ACP, these pistols feature satin silver stainless steel slides and satin silver frames. The Stainless Ultra Raptor II has a 3-inch bull barrel and a compact aluminum frame. The Stainless Pro Raptor II has a 4-inch bull barrel and a full-size stainless steel frame. Raptor pistols have flat top slides with a back-cut row of scales, along with scaled serrations in the gripping areas and a beavertail grip safety that is bumped and grooved. Scaled frontstraps and logo grip panels continue the theme that gave them their name. The Raptor design theme is so refined that it was granted a patent (D560750S). Standard features include Tactical Wedge three dot (green) fixed night sights that securely mount in machined dovetails, zebra wood grips and an ambidextrous thumb safety. Raptor barrels, barrel bushings, chambers and trigger groups are match grade. The Stainless Ultra Raptor II and the Stainless Pro Raptor II continue the high standards for both performance and finish established in the Kimber Custom Shop.

Two other new additions to the Kimber line are the Tactical Custom HD II and the Tactical Entry II. The Tactical Custom HD II and Tactical Entry II differ from the original Tactical pistols with stainless steel frames and the Tactical Entry II has the integral Kimber Tactical Rail for flashlight and accessory mounting. The Tactical family of pistols is no-compromise, purpose-built pistols that leave nothing out, with features oriented towards law enforcement use. Night sights for low light conditions, checkering under the trigger guard and on the front strap for a positive grip, extended magazine well for fast reloads, ambidextrous safety for strong or weak hand shooting and gray KimPro II on the frame for a contrasting two-tone look. Of course the Tactical pistols have the standard Kimber features; match grade chamber, trigger, bushing and barrel, extended beavertail safety, full-length guide rod and extended magazine release; Whether on a SWAT team, entry team or even home defense, the Kimber Tactical Custom HD II and Tactical Entry II will provide the reliability, dependability and shootability the Kimber 1911’s have been famous for.
