Carry Ammo

For all you .45ACP folks out there, what ammo do you guys carry ? I use Hornady TAP +P but for the most part I carry Federal LE Tactical Hydra-Shok 230gr ammo. I am just wondering what everybody else has. I dont have much TAP but I got a good deal on the Federal ammo and had to buy a good amount. So thats what I usually carry.

I carry either Black Talon or Hydra Shoks

I hear a lot of people carrying Hydra Shoks.

I gues its pretty good. I tested a few of mine this weekend and they fired okay. I never used it on a human or test gel but I am sure it'll get the job done.

I have a tricked out Colt M1911, an M1991A1 and a Kimber. All three like the following.

Corbon 45 Auto+P, 165gr JHP, 1250fps, 573ftlbs
