While I personally believe a purse should be the last chosen method of carry since it is a muggers target - I am sure that at times it is the only option.
Looks like some of these would be nice. They were engineered for concealed carry.

I searched for almost a year to find a way to carry and finally decided that having in a purse was a way to ensure that I would actually carry at all (I had been putting off carrying until I found a comfortable way to carry). Never did find a comfortable way to carry on my body. Then I had the excuse that I could not find a purse that I liked (I am not really a "purse" kinda gal). FINALLY, my husband found one on the NRA store and bought it for me for my birthday.
Been carrying since - thanks, honey!
The purse leather and is guaranteed for life. My purse has a front pocket and two large main zippered pockets and a lockable side conceal compartment for my "piece". I carry a PT145 (Taurus). I love the lockable compartment. Inside one of the large pockets is a small flat zippered area and a couple of sewn in pockets on the inside for cell phone or keys. There is also a cell phone or glasses pocket on the opposite side of the concealed compartment.

Congrats on the new purse. As long as you found a way to carry all the time that you feel comfortable with is the most important thing. Just make sure you practice drawing from your purse everytime you go to the range. You can also practice at home in front of the TV. Just make sure the gun is unloaded!!

Well, the purse is no longer new, I just have not been here in awhile. And yes, I do have to practice. The purse also has a Velcro holster and it does take some getting used to. And, yeah... UN-loaded for sure.

Wild...,
Have you tried the crossbreed supertuck holsters? I have a friend (lady) who loves it for comfort and the fact that she can tuck in her sirt. She is little and carries an XDsubCompact..and it doesn't show! If you can check one of those out you may like it!

I've been thinking of getting one of those for my wife. I'm glad to hear of someone who has one and likes it.

Old thread and I'm new...so please pardon.
I have a Gun Toten' Mama Classic Boston CC purse. I carry on-body 90% of the time. The purse is there for days when I go to the gym and changing into sweat pants in an open locker room is not an option. It hides in the purse until I can lock it inside the locker.
Aside from that...I have a Remora clipless holster. This thing is sooo comfortable. Granted....I'm still in the experimental stage of trying to find that sweet spot on my waist. I have a couple other holsters that I haven't been paying much attention to lately. The Remora fits my lifestyle perfectly!

I have never heard of the Remora holster. You should post some pictures or a thread on it. What kind of firearm are you carrying?
