Is it more difficult for women to carry concealed? Maybe it's a clothes issue? Any women who have carried for a length of time have any tips on this? I'm still searching for a comfortable holster for my Glock 26 and am considering a SmartCarry - anyone have any experience with this type holster?
Thanks, JD

My wife has had some experience with conceal carry and found that women have unique problems with waist band holsters either IWB or out side the belt. It seems that the women have a much higher beltline which makes it harder for them to grasp and draw from a holster.
One way that seems to work is a crossdraw appendix carry. It is harder to conceal but is workable. Another way is to get a conceal carry purse that has a compartment for the gun. Not a real good way as the first thing the bad guy goes for is a women's purse so retension of the purse is important.

My wife regularly carries and she feels like this site:
http://www.corneredcat.com/ is an excellent starting point for women.
She has found that she can dress fairly normally with a small IWB holster (appendix cross draw) and a Kahr CW-9.
