I thought this would be something good to talk about. There are a lot of people out there buying up firearms as we speak. Many of the are new to using and handling a firearm. I would like to hear from all of you on what your advice would be to them.
My advise would be to familiarize yourself with your gun before loading and using it. Learn about it by reading an owners manual. Break your gun down so that you understand it. Practice with it by dry firing it so that you know the trigger pull. Once you have done this, practice as often as possible. Remember, practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.
