Well I started loading my first batch of ammo. A few rounds in and the Feed bracket and Feed rod strip from the frame. It appears to have stripped the threads on the frame. I am so pissed off. I sent an email to Midway to see if they are going to warranty it or if I have to send it to LEE. The worst part is that I set it up according to the directions, checked it against an online forums "unofficial set up" and it still happened. Now I wait to hear back. Gonna call them tomorrow as well to try and hurry the process along.

Well I got a hold of Midway and they are out of stock. They told me to call Lee and see what they will do for me. Called them up and was told to pack it up and ship it to them. They will replace it and send me a new one...and include a check to reimburse my shipping cost to get it to them. I even told them that I may have stripped it and they told me no problem. It really is an unconditional warranty.

Scooter - I am glad they have a unconditional warranty but I hope you have an unconditional humor.

Good luck with the Lee.

that's good to hear. I'm in need of a new setup. Was looking at the lee turret.

Jizzle - read the following Post

Also do your research on the net before you buy. If you look at Dillon and want any particular information let me know. I have several Dillon's running and have nothing but great experiences with them.

While they do cost more you are getting a tool for life.

hmm. I reload 9mm and 10mm atm. What press would u reccomend? I don't currently do or plan on rifle loading. Maybe eventually I'll get a .338 Lapua... (evil grin).

I would get a Dillon RL-550. It is very versatile and you may want to reload rifle later. It has the capability to reload just about anything.

I was not kidding about the one Dillon my ex and her BF beat to death with a sledge. It was nothing more than a pile of scrap metal when I picked up all my belongings with the County Sherrif.

Dill replaced it with no questions asked.

I would love for someone to do that with any (including Lee) other press and see if their no BS warranty covers it.

just gotta say that I have 3 presses. 1 Dillon and 2 Lee. I have a progressive and single stage Lee. Personally I will NEVER pay the higher prices for any other brand again. Lee has never given me or anyone I know any trouble.
