Whats your home defense plan?

Do you have a plan for an home intrusion? What if your spouse is home alone and someone is trying to gain entry into your home? Tell us what you and your family have discussed and what the plan is. This should help some of us who may not have this down.

i live alone just me and my cat:) but i have a weapon (handgun) in every room i have.

how do you ahve your house set up so that you will absolutely be aware that someone is attempting to gain access? You can't defend yourself against a threat that you are unaware of no matter how well you are armed. :) btw, I live on base currently. It's a bit constricting on what i can/cant do to the house. But, it's patrolled by AF security forces pretty consistently. If I was off base I would run things quite a bit differently than I currently do. Ask me next year when I move outta here and I'll have a laundry list for you.
