Hello everyone. I am new to the site and new to carrying concealed. I have been certified to carry for about 6 months now. I have a XD 9mm for my carry weapon. I do a lot of walking by myself so I feel comfort in knowing I am armed to protect myself. I look forward to meeting everyone. I am glad to see there is a section on her for women too.:)

Illinois doesn't have concealed carry yet but we're working on it at illinoiscarry.com. It's a great forum and most of the people on there have either FL, PA, UT, or NH non-resident permits. That at least allows us to carry in the nearby states.

I have more hobbies than I have time for or can afford. They include hunting, shooting, flying, skydiving, skiing, and snowboarding just to name a few.

Not sure how many guns I own but the ones I usually carry are either the Walther PPK, Beretta 9000s 9m (it's probably my favorite) and the Ruger SP101.
