I have a model 54 Winchester in .22 Hornet that my dad and I used on Groundhogs for years -- to me , the model 70 is about the same ..great guns.
Of course , your talking bolt action .
For deer hunting I like the Marlin and Winchester lever action rifles , when I hunted in closer range shooting .
I have always been a Winchester man , but , I do prefer the Marlin lever 30-30 over the Winchester 30-30 lever , only because the Winchester ejects out the top [ in you face ] and the Marlin ejects out the side .

I would choose the Tikka, but that's because they have a broad selection in left handed bolt actions. I guess it would really depend on what caliber you are looking for and what you want to use the rifle for. That and how much you are willing to spend.

It is a "shot in the dark" to make a recommendation before knowing what your intended purpose is with your rifle. Other important considerations would be: have you already decided upon a caliber or will that be dependent upon your choice of manufacturer? Do you already have optics and mounts?
Without knowing any of the above, I am partial toward the Remington. That is mostly because I can find factory authorized repair from more sources than the other makers. There are some outstanding aftermarket stocks and accessories for the Remington if you intend to build a precision rifle for sniper or sharpshooter missions. There are great barrels and trigger packages for the others but Remington is the way to go if you are training for a police or military mission.
If you are looking for a lightweight hunter, any of the manufacturers on your list will make a rifle that will shoot better than the average hunter will have a need for.
I am curious why you did not have Savage on your list? I have met a few benchrest shooters that prefer the Savage action since the barrel nut allows easy changes when they wear a barrel out. The old factory Savage trigger leaves a lot to be desired but I have handled one of their new heavy barrel model 10 (maybe it was a 110?) that had a factory installed adjustable trigger that solved that problem. If you find an old Savage action, look at the trigger packages from Sharp Shooter Supply. You can build a serious precision rifle with that trigger on a Savage action and a good barrel.
Let us know more specifically what you are looking for and you will get some good suggestions from the people on this board.

the one thing about it that most people think is negative about the scout rifles is that the barrel lengths are shorter and the rifles are overall lighter. they are rifles that are meant to be utility rifles and carried. I think it's a plus but, you do get more recoil and also slightly less accuracy. However, I get nice groups on the buffalo at La Luz without any issues and it's at 360ish yards. I haven't pushed it much past that but, i'm sure it would work just fine to 500 and in my opinion anything over that isn't worth shooting at. unless your a sniper or in a match competition et.

I went with a different option. I went with the Savage 10FP LE. 20 inch bull barrel, free floated, button rifled, with a recessed crown. It's chambered in .308. I scoped it with Nikon 4.5-14x40 glass mounted with Leupold hardware and it has Butler Creek flip-up lens caps . I added a Rockmount bi-pod, and Blackhawk stock pack. The trigger is set about 2 lbs. It's capable of better accuracy than I am. For a utility rifle I have an AR-15.
