Hi...I have heard of this maker, as I live in Fort Worth. Since my disability I use a "fanny " type as it is uncomfortable for me to use an IWB holster. This looks like it would be good for outside wear as well.

I would primarily use my ve .40 Sigma, one of the two pistols I own. I was looking for a carry peice other than my old 1911, and aroud ctober of 08, My mother heard of me wanting a new pistol and I was mentioning the Sigma only because I knew it was most likely all I could afford. She only knew I had said Sigma, and unbeknownst to me, had contacted my older uncle in east texas, and he was arranging it. Mom passed in November 08.....and when family got together for the first xmas without her, my uncle gave me the pistol he had been holding.

Though an inexpensive weapon, the slide is engraved..with my name
, Love Mother, and Nov 13 2008 ...day she passed.

I have had the trigger worked and although an inepensive peice, it shoots as straight and reliable as you can look..I trust my life and family's life with it...and for obvious reasons, would carry it ove rthe finest peice of metal Kimber or any could give me ever.

I believe my .40 would look good and wear good in this nice holster. I would be proud to wear them together. I would not
want to win it because I cant afford it, but because I would be very proud of it.

Finally, a holster that addresses multiple carry options in one design. Less to pack when traveling and something I will be comfortable with and familiar with. Another thing I won't have to worry about, like am I carrying in a shoulder holster, on the left for a cross draw, or is it still on the right hip!?! Could get a little exciting figuring that out in a gun fight!

Right now, the lack of a decent holster is the only thing keeping me from carrying my new p229. I am new to CCW as this is my first 'well made' hand gun and am constantly debating between a fabric/kydex type or leather. I need to be convinced that leather is the way to go! The decision in the leather vs. plastic/fabric debate will no doubt drive my future holster purchases.

The D.M. Bullard would save me from the judgemental whackos in alamogordo, because apparently I have a small **** and need to compensate for it by opencarrying in a movie theater because i'm a two bit punk with an inferiority complex that likes to intimidate people who have a "right" to "feel" safe. So if i had the holster I could CC and no one would know the difference.

Thanks to all for opportuniy and best wishes to all and winner. I respectfully withdraw from this drawing as on reflections, I have my nylonfanny pack and has served me OK. I would rather someone who has no holster receive this fine one. I know it will be put to proud use.

I will gleefully check back for another contest if any and also to spend more time here per my registration. Seems like a good crowd.

Best of luck to winner and God bless us all who carry and protect ourselves and others.

I've looked at the holster online and it look's very well made the double stiching and claps look good and look's like the'll hold. I would be very much hunbled to own one of these holster's, I've tried 4 or 5 different one's and haven't found one that would really work. I carry all the time and need one that dont show and holds. beside's I'm too cheap to buy one.

I would want this holster because I have been on the lookout for the perfect concealment holster and this looks like it may be it. Also I work in a different place everyday and am often in an area I am unfamiliar with and in some rough areas so good concealment is a must. on another note sometimes I open carry depending on what I am doing and a single holster to fit both purposes is the best idea I have heard in a long time. consistent draw and placement for both types of carry is an amazing thought.

I would like to have the D.M Bullard dual carry holster because I dont have an inside the waistband holster. Additionally, I was told by a V.I.P at the pistol range when I qualified that my OSW holster was not neccessarily the safest holster on the planet.

If your one for being unoffensive, why are you holding up a suffocating fish on your signature? Ya it's a gun site, you probably arn't going to offend many people here. But, that's also what I thought with my humor, which didn't by the way catch a living creature kill it and post a picture of it, nor with the condom joke did I actually come out and say anything actaully rude or offensive, I infered it and left the rest to each persons imagination so that I could keep it PG for the site and still make it funny.

BTW what's with your spelling?

And if I offended your delicate feelings with my posts I am suprised. I find it much more likely that you are just attempting to pull the "Holier than thou" routine. Better luck next time.

If you had handled it differently this would have gone in a totally different direction. I would have apologized and we would have gone on our way. But, you apparently needed to do it in front of everyone. Why? I don't know. But, that's just not how things should be handled. I need to win this fine holster because I carry a glock (no external safety) and don't have a good holster so I am forced to carry without a round in the chamber and I am not quite as safe as I could be If I had this fine holster that protected the trigger. Basically this holster could save me about a second in turn saving my life or another innocent persons life for that matter.

Finally, a holster that addresses multiple carry options in one design. Less to pack when traveling and something I will be comfortable with and familiar with. Another thing I won't have to worry about, like am I carrying in a shoulder holster, on the left for a cross draw, or is it still on the right hip!?

If I don't win the DM Bullard holster I might just have to resort to my second holster option. I really don't want to do that!

I have spent some time thinking about this, and I can't honestly thing of a good argument of why I need this holster. I know I am unhappy with the belly band I use and would like to upgrade, but until I test this one out I can't say that it is right for me. I have read the reviews and believe this would be a great holster. The one thing that caught my eye (and will probably cause me to buy one in the future) is the way the leather rises up between your gun and body. This is one complaint I have about the belly band and a lot of other holsters I have tried. I like the fact that this will help protect my weapon from sweat. Also this works great when an undershirt is worn. In practice drills I have grabbed for my gun and to fumble with my undershirt hanging up on the gun. The versatility this holster offers is nice. Different situations require different methods of carry. Also the way the holster fastens to your belt is nice. I like the fact that if I grab my gun, the holster is going to stay put. If I am moving around I don't have to worry about the holster falling off (I have lesser quality holsters do that and it sucks). If I do win this holster I would be more than happy to try it out and post reviews back here on the threads.
Thanks
Zach

Up to this point I had been sitting out on this one in hopes someone that was really in need of it might win it...but after some thought I think I might really be in need. A few months back I had the opportunity to shoot at one of the OPSA matches and had a blast. But at the same time, I felt I was at a bit of a disadvantage (other than my ability or lack thereof) I was the only one shooting from a concealed holster. I don't currently own a OWB holster because I carry concealed. If I were to win this holster, I would be able to use it to its full ability, IWB and OWB. Being comfortable with a holster is the most important feature of any holster. And being able to carry and compete from the same holster would be great.

I know it was long winded, but it will probably be my only entry....so enjoy!:D:D

I have purchased two previous concealed carry holsters and neither of them work very well. They both move around and start slipping down inside my pants. I am left handed and some of the holsters I tried out claim they work for right or left, but really are focused on the right hand. This holster looks like it would actually work right.

The D.M. Bullard Cary Holster looks like something I could actually wear comfortably without it sliding down my leg.

Let's see, does it have.....inner flap oversized to protect the wearer from getting gouged? Yes it does. Tried and proven FBI cant? Yes it does. Reinforced opening to ease holstering of the weapon? Yes it does. And it converts from inside to outside the waistband too? Not to mention that its form fitted to the weapon, not just a bag with a couple of hooks on it. The DM Bullard holster has so many bases covered that it seem to be playing in a whole different game! All this holster really needs is an endurance test. Volunteers everyone :D. I would like to win this holster so that I can give it to my wife. She got her C.C. permit over a month ago and she has not carried a single day yet. She told me she would like to carry a fanny pack so I got her a gunny sack with a subcompact 9mm but she has not used it yet. Lately she has been talking about carrying on her person instead of a fanny pack or a purse. I really think this fine holster would give her the confidence to carry every day since she already wears a vest to work. She goes to work at 5am every day and parks in a dark parking lot to walk to the store where she works. I think that women need to carry even more than us men and I would feel a lot better if I knew she was carrying everywhere she went. Thank you for your consideration and having this contest.
