I just took the CCW class with Richard last month and am waiting for my license from the state. At the time I owned two revolvers (see signature) but, a 6" barrel was too hard to conceal easily. I have since purchased a Taurus 24/7 .45 ACP to carry. Although I can't conceal carry yet, I have put about 200 rounds through the Taurus and love it. What do other Taurus owners think of theirs?

I've got a PT1911 I use to test my reloads, does that count? I've got a ProCarry ll for CCW and a CZ 40P I normally use for a "truck gun". The Taurus is a good enough pistol except I've no use for the ambi safety and I really don't care for the Heinie Straight Eight sights. Still, it shoots well and isn't picky about ammo.

I have a pt 111 9mm. It is a sweet shooting gun, easy to conceal also. Ive put close to 1000 rounds through it with no problems. I am not afraid to carry it over my xd anyday. For reliability I give it a perfect 10.

I have had many Taurus pistols over the years, 99.8% of them were excellent weapons and VERY underrated. As of right now my everyday carry is a G-19, But I am seriously thinking about getting a PT-111, I have had a few and they were excellent. NEVER had a problem! Be Safe, Dave

I currently own the OSS/DS. It's a long slide in 40 but I still use it for a carry gun. The trigger on this thing is unbelievable! It's the 3rd Taurus I've owned and I LOVE it!

I just purchased a 145 pro from Holly who I met on this site. If I ever receive my CCL, it may become my primary carry. Of course if I am comfortable with it. Now I have a G-23. Which I love, the smaller size of the Taurus as well as the more stopping power of a .45 is the reason I'm thinking about purchasing a few more holsters for concealing. When I am allowed to spend more money.. Ha Ha.
