I wonder how many people do this. I do. This is why:

I don't currently (I live on base, but it's nearby), I'm not sure if I will while I'm at home once i move off base.

I carry most of the day, in and out of the home. Only because I don't usually put my weapon up just to re-holster when I leave, not because I'm paranoid about a home invasion. I have a few weapons placed throughout my home when I'm not carrying. One isn't too far away from me or one of my boys. I hate to hear stories about home invasions in particular one so close by. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Anytime I am up, dressed, and walking around I am armed. Other times I have a loaded .45 ready at hand.
Although my wife has a CCL, I can't get her to carry very often and never around the house.
Everywhere but work.
Run into vermin on the way to the shop and it's handy to have available although I do sometimes trade out for my M63.

Simple answer, yes. Everywhere and always...with the exception of work (military. Ironic huh, I can't carry on base even if off duty and out of uniform)

Yup, I carry at home. I have my Kimber .45 in a Crossbreed Supertuck or in a Fobus paddle holster depending on what I am doing. If I don't have it strapped on it is within reach.

Most generally I carry at home. Even if I don't, there is a gun in every room close at hand.

I do carry at home for a couple of reasons.
1. For my kids. If something goes down I have to act for their safety first and not worry about where the closest gun is.
2. Stray dogs, I see dogs in my ally almost everyday and with such a low wall to my backyard to many of them like to jump into the yard and sniff out my dogs I have to keep in a kennel for the same reason.
3. Safety. By reducing the number of guns around the house that the kids can get to makes things better for them.
