Albuquerque police say a baby was fatally shot following an argument at a home Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened at 328 General Chennault St. NE, near Wyoming Blvd. and Copper Ave.

Officers on scene said a child less than a year old had died. They said a relative of the baby had been taken into custody in connection to the shooting. The identity of the relative was not immediately released.

Police responded to the home following a 911 call about an argument inside the home followed by shots fired.

A police spokesperson at the scene said it appeared the gunman intentionally fired at the child but that the investigation was still ongoing.

I agree, this kind of crap infuriates me to no end. But instead of just shooting the b@s#a%d, have a trial, convict him, twelve people using their common sense to figure out that he did it, not all the legal crap where all the lawyers want to do is win at any cost. Then when after and I mean right after he is convicted, then take him out and shoot him. Of course that cost a lot of money to do. None of this will happen, we will have to feed and house this person for the next ten to twenty years or for life. My apologizes for venting. I just see the inevitable happening in this case.:mad:

I saw this on the news, it appears it was an argument with his wife and he shot his child on purpose. This a senseless death. He definitely needs to be dealt with.

Then while on the phone to dispatch, he said he wanted to take his own life. Filthy coward waited until the police got there.

He was attacked by another inmate during his court appearance after the charges were read. Bravo to the inmate, too bad the court officials had to stop him!

My best friend was a corrections officer at the Utah state pen for 20 years. He told me that baby killers and baby rapers have the hardest times. Outcasts. The other inmates make their lives a living hell.

The greedy, self centered, selfish son of a bitch. I am so damn mad I can hardly stand it. Yup, there are people that should be put down like rabid dogs.

I believe there is a special place in hell for scum like him.
