I don't know if he is a Muslim or not and frankly, I don't care. What I do care about is his honesty. There is much about his past that is intentionally "fuzzy". I am wondering what he is wanting to hide.

I don't know what to say about the second video. I remember back in the 70s they were talking about the population explosion and how the world will not be able to support so many people. And, there were also the warnings about global cooling. Yes, global cooling. They were saying we were heading for another ice age.

That is what I am concerned about as well. Do you think he will get elected in a second term?

I would like to say no, but I didn't think he would get elected to the first one! I think he is a disaster for this country, but he is able to "swoon" so many with his eloquent speeches that really say nothing. On the other hand, it appears that many are waking up and realizing that the direction the country is taking is a path to destruction.

I really hope that the Republican party can get its act together and produce a serious alternative. Maybe it's time for anther try at a third party.

The elections next year will be so important and may effectively render him a lame duck. It's too early to tell though.

The way the Congress and president is spending money is just plain frightening. With the national debt at over $12 trillion and our unfunded liabilities over $106 trillion, I fear a collapse of the dollar and subsequent breakdown of society. I hope it doesn't happen but it we seem to be speeding to that reality.

As always, especially with politics, this is just my opinion and yours may be different.
