MSRP is $2769. so I am hoping to get some nice bonus checks here quickly.

For those that don't know -

BORS is an integrated electronic ballistic computer that mounts directly on your riflescope and couples to the elevation knob. Just turn the elevation knob until the LCD displays the target’s range. The BORS’ three internal sensors will have automatically calculated your ballistic solution. It compensates for aiming up or down, temperature, and barometric pressure changes. It even tells you if the rifle is canted. Place the crosshair on the target and fire with first-round confidence.

This is extremely accurate out to 2 miles with a Barrett .50 Sniper Rifle

Well I have eliminated the PX4 Storm. Now trying to find an XD SC. These things are difficult to find. I was going after the .40 cal but now willing to take the 9mm. Am I crazy for not sticking with the .40 cal??

Styer Scout in .308 for normal everyday type stuff. And i was looking at something in .338 Lapua for some reach out and touch somebody power. Soft targets mainly. Handgun wise I'm looking for a pair of matching cowboy types, either ruger or s/w. in 10mm or .45 LC. That's it for guns. I need to buy all my reloading stuff soon. I am buying my wife a G19 soon and also a bike so she can ride with the boys. I'm also trying to figure out the confusing as heck world of defensive knives. To many diff metals and designs with pros and cons and cons and pros. Once I figure it all out I'll get a couple.

Do you only like military guns?

Not even close. I have a huge collection of collectables in both Non-military and military.

I have a 1903 Winchester 1894, 1898 Colt Peacemaker, 1933 Winchester Model 42 .410 just to name a few. Later models such as a Ruger model 77 in 7mm mag, numerous S&W, Colt, Ruger revolvers and semi-autos along with many others.

since I am a competive shooter in pistol and rifle, but specialize in long distance competition I usually move into the military side of firearms since they are easier to modify for distance and accuracy.

Nope - I would prefer the A1 if forced to carry anything in 5.56 mm. While the military has came to the conclusion that soldiers are not capable of handling a shoulder fired "fully" automatic I do not share that view.

I am still walking this earth because in several instances I had a full auto vs. a 3 round burst.

My preference in combat was an H&K MP40, MAK10, or AK-47. While it is the crudest of the bunch the AK is one of the most reliable assult rifles in the world. and you will never forget the distinctive sound it makes when someone is shooting at you with an AK.

BTW - ever shot a full auto M16 with a 100 round drum. YES - what fun! Just don't touch the barrel after or you will be severely surprised (burned). And no it wasn't me. :)

what does an hk mp40 do that your pistol cant? waste bullets? i do admit they are a lotta fun but, not really good for much. lol and aks are more battle carbines than actual rifles wouldn't you say? i think the world militarys have gone to carbine type weapons becaues they can't afford to invest the time/effort into training soldiers actual marksmanship. They have gotten to the point of well, if we can't teach them one shot one kill then, lets just increase our odds so to speak. And hope that we get lucky. But, then again that's just my own .02 which is worth exactly that.. .02.

Absolutley!!!! And what a blast to shoot. I knew a guy at my first duty station who had one. And I accidently learned the barrel lesson. Reached over the rifle to grab something and my forearm bumped the barrel. I was surprised:eek: (but the burn wasn't bad)
