I was in the Big 5 Sports Store this afternoon looking to see if they had any .45 ACP ammo. They did, but it was some kind of Russian ammo. I didn't get the brand name. I wish that I had. Anyway, it was just over $26 for a box of 50. I decided to pass. Has anyone had any experience with Russian ammo?

Is it Wolf? That is usually what I see in .45acp. I have never fired any my self but I have heard that it is dirty, and the casings are steel or aluminium so they can't be reloaded.

I didn't catch the name of it. I just saw "Made in Russia" on it. I have heard the same thing about Wolf ammo and I wouldn't buy that either.
