We should let this be a reminder to keep guns away from where little hands can find them...

With two young children at home, I fear this all the time. And I even have them locked up in safes!

My youngest is 15 and a better shot than I am. However, I still worry about his friends and such. Maybe I should start locking stuff up in the safe. I hate stories like this one.

All my guns are locked up in my somewhat giant safe downstairs. Next to my bed is my EDC and it is kept in a V-line ( http://www.cabelas.com/p-0027552223551a.shtml ). There is no excuse whatsoever to leave a firearm outside of your 100% control.

Very nice. The one I have doesn't fit in my night stand, so I keep it in the closet.
