Hello from Alamogordo. Just joined and looking forward to reading the links and posts. Waiting on my CCW to clear. Hope the wait is not to long. I have my PT145 getting repaired so I have a couple of weeks to kill anyway:D.

Welcome 357. Think you will like it here. This is a good group. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum. I am relatively new my self and have been helped out quit a bit already.
I agree with Bman. The wait is painful. If it is any consolation it took me nearly 90 days (two years ago) to get my CHL. A friend of mine just got his and it only took 30 days for his.

Welcome to the site. What is wrong with your PT145 that it needs repair? BTW, I waited 17 weeks for my license. I understand your frustrations.. It will be here before you know it.

I bought it back in 2001 and have put about 1500 rounds through it. I then heard that Taurus was having problems with the polymer developing cracks. Sure enough I found two small cracks coming from the rear part of the frame where the metal meets the polymer. I am kind of hoping they replace the frame with their Millennium pro frame that has the rail on it. I like everything about the gun except the DOA trigger pull. Now I just need to find a good carry holster for it.[

I use a crossbreed supertuck for my PT145. It is the Millennium PT145 Pro. I'm happy with it. It shoots a little low, but I can still hit center mass without fail.

I have a 686 K frame / 6" barrel with rubber and wood grips. The wood grips are kind of big but sure makes it look pretty. I also have a Model 36 snub nose 38
