Hi there Guys and Girls

I'm going to send an email to one of the persons running for Office of Bernalillo County Sheriff. Now I do not know what type of questions to ask I have some idea in my head as what to ask. But do not know how to put them down so they sound they are from an intelligent person LOL. Some of what I'm trying to ask is does he support the second amendment and what he will say to his officers about seeing someone OCing and if he is willing to talk to citizens about proactive policing OK that's what I'm trying to ask him if you can help me I would be very greatful.

What is your position on taking Federal grant money to operate your department?
Then ask if the 2nd is an individual or collective right.

Very good that you are checking into the candidate. This may be the cynic in me, but a Sheriff is a politician, and most likely he will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear. I may be wrong since I don't know the man. They are still worth asking though.

My take would be this: Rather than asking if he supports the Second Amendment, ask him for his thoughts on the subject and about people carrying openly. I would do this while trying not to reveal my stand on the issues.

That's my 2 cents anyhow and probably worth exactly what you paid for it! ;)
