I just received my concealed carry permit today and will start carrying tomorrow. I am excited to finally carry legally but also understand the grave responsibility I have taken on. I have been reading my state's laws about concealed carry and found this site to be quite informative.

A friend turned me on to shooting 11 months ago. I joined a gun club and have put about 6000 rounds of 22lr, 9mm, and 40caliber down range. I've made some improvements but I have a long way to go before I'll be satisfied with with my performance. I've taken lessons and will continue to study, practice and have fun.

Congrats Little Jack! I am sure you are excited. I know I was. I have found that the more comfortable I am with my performance, the more comfortable I am with carrying. I look forward to getting to know you. Where at in CO are you located?

Welcome to the site. Congrats on the new permit. My only advice is to get or have a high quality holster. I always recommend the CrossBread. What do you plan on carrying daily?

I'm looking for a good holster. I bought a Beltman gun belt that I like wearing. I just bought a cool leather jacket from Coranodo Leather that has two concealed carry inside pockets. I have two subcompacts from Springfield Armory, one in 9mm and the other in 40caliber. Both have laser grips and tac lights. I actually carried both today and it was not uncomfortable.
