Default Concealing in Restaurant with Beer and Wine Licenses

A Reminder…Concealed Carry in Restaurant with Beer and Wine Licenses (Restaurant License)…To determine if a particular restaurant has Restaurant license (which, according to the NM Alcohol and Gaming Division) means they can only sell beer and wine), go to http://164.64.87.25/MyLicenseVerific...spx?facility=Y and search for the restaurant you are interested in. Remember, you may not consume alcohol while you are in possession of your concealed firearm. And if you see any restaurants with signs indicating that you are not welcome with you concealed handgun, please let me know.

Let the clustef**k begin.. People are going to get into needless trouble with this law. It's to confusing.

I've already been approached by people who that thought it was ok to go into places like chili's and applebees because they where resturants.

Those people in MY opinion shouldn't be carrying then! Don't carry if you don't 1. Know what you are doing and 2. If you don't know the laws in the state you are carrying in! Oh ya, I forgot #3. Don't carry if you DON"T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry guys. This is just my opinion.

no apologies bman.

I really think it's retarded that someone's ability to carry is affected by someone else's ability to drink... It's still illegal to consume alcohol while carrying... Why make it so that there is a difference... Alcohol is still alcohol. It's confusing without purpose. RETARDED.

I agree with Jizzle about this law. Wast of time and money!! CCW holders should know that they can not drink while carrying(I would hope everyone knew this). Maybe we will take after AZ in a couple of years

This small step has the potential to take us backwards though unfortunately.
