Default Nra-backed bills filed in new mexico legislature!

Two NRA-backed bills have been filed in the New Mexico Legislature: SB 220 by State Sen. George Munoz (D-Gallup), NRA-backed Castle Doctrine legislation, and HB 140 by State Rep. Nate Gentry (R-ABQ), a bill eliminating the mid-term firearms refresher training course requirement for Concealed Handgun Licensees. Please get in touch with your State Senators and urge them to support SB 220, and please call and email your State Representatives and urge them to support HB 140.

Contact information for state lawmakers can be found at http://www.nmlegis.gov/lcs/legislatorsearch.aspx. We will notify you when these measures are scheduled for committee hearings.
