Just fyi, Ohio issues a Concealed HANDGUN License. The code only addresses carrying of a handgun. It does not permit you to carry other concealed weapons; knives, brass knuckles etc.

"(A) No person shall knowingly carry or have, concealed on the person’s person or concealed ready at hand, any of the following:

(1) A deadly weapon other than a handgun;

(2) A handgun other than a dangerous ordnance;

(3) A dangerous ordnance.

(A) “Deadly weapon” means any instrument, device, or thing capable of inflicting death, and designed or specially adapted for use as a weapon, or possessed, carried, or used as a weapon."

So, a knife can be a deadly weapon or it can be a tool. Sadly, you may need to sort that out in front of a judge, rather than during a stop by police.

It may be an issue, it may not. But regardless, it's not covered by your Concealed Handgun License in Ohio.
