I just bought a 709 slim about 2 weeks ago and then I found out that they make the same gun in 40 cal. and a 380 cal..Anyone seen or shot a 40 cal. I think they are really new, but not sure.

I have a 745. Had it for about 4 mo. I like it. Feels good, eats a wide range of ammo. I still carry my colt but sometimes you need something smaller.

I shot a Slim in 9 mm on the range (50 rounds) a couple months ago. I didn't like the trigger, the grips and the recoil. It was hard to hold on target. I would think in .40 it would be really bad. I found several other small guns that were easier to grip and shoot: Ruger SR9C, Glock 26, and MP9C. I bought a Ruger SR40c. It shoots great.
