Default How many cw can I carry in Ohio?

I'm new to the forum and forgive me if this question has been asked before. I have done a forum search but found nothing I also have searched other forums and even my own state laws regarding firearm carry and find nothing about this. Does anyone know what is the maximum amount of firearms a person can carry with a CCW permit?. I know this varies from state to state my main goal is to know Ohio's laws but a complete list of states would be nice for those of us who travel. Thank's

I too wouldn't need more than two but I also carry a knife and a fellow on another forum claims a pocket knife in Florida is considered a concealed weapon just as a firearm and if you carry 2 guns and a simple Case pocket knife it's a violation there so I've been trying to look into Ohio's laws on this. I also carry 3 guns to the range in my shooters bag and thought man if I get pulled over am I breaking any state laws?

I don't find anything in Ohio's laws stating a limit. But I'm not a lawyer, don't live in Ohio and won't be the one in trouble...

Might look yourself or ask an Ohio authority/lawyer.

Jeff

If there is no mention, most likely there's no limit. But to be completely safe, you need to ask an OHIO ATTORNEY. Preferably one that specializes in firearms law.

And I, like many others, am confused as to why this question would even come up. What kind of assault are you planning for?

There is no limit shown in the Ohio Revised Code. You can confirm this by checking the ORC here located here (2923.12):

No assault Weaselfire just like to carry a pocket knife along with my CC weapon and as stated in my post I was told other states considered a pocket knife a concealed weapon and just wanted to verify that I was not breaking any state laws carrying both. Thank's for the replies I will check with a Attorney and then post back with my findings so other Ohio CCW license holders can make use of the info.
